Research Grants and Fellowships
Archives & Special Collections offers several competitive research grants to qualified researchers and scholars who plan to use our collections for their scholarship.

JAMES MARSHALL FELLOWSHIP
The Marshall Fellowship encourages use of unique materials in the Northeast Children’s Literature Collection and provides financial support to a promising author and/or illustrator at the beginning of their career to assist in the creation of new children’s literature.

BILLIE M LEVY TRAVEL & RESEARCH GRANT
The Levy Grant encourages use of unique materials in the Northeast Children’s Literature Collection by providing travel and research funding to researchers who must travel long distances.

STROCHLITZ TRAVEL GRANT
The Strochlitz Travel Grant provides partial support to outstanding scholars who must travel long distances to consult our unique collections.
