John Cropp is an Access Services Associate at the Homer Babbidge Library Information Desk, the primary customer service point on the Plaza Level of the Storrs campus library. John earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies at the University of Georgia and is currently enrolled in the Master of Library and Information Science program at Valdosta State University. He is committed to creating an environment where everyone is welcome to access resources, gain knowledge, and share ideas. As an active member of the Academic Engagement area’s Access Services unit, he contributes to the advancement of the UConn Library through collaboration with colleagues and by taking a proactive approach to supporting and coordinating user-focused services.
Edward Lim is the liaison librarian for the School of Business (across all campuses). He also supports the Peter J. Werth Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and CLAS’s Department of Economics. Edward has been a business librarian since 2011. Previously he worked at New York University Shanghai in China as the Reference and Research Services Librarian for Business. His time at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore allowed him to experience stints in library user experience, marketing & outreach, and access services. Edward was a part-time student then and graduated with a Master of Science in Information Studies. His Bachelor of Social Sciences with a double major in Political Science and Sociology is from Singapore Management University.
