Natalie Granados

Conservator

Natalie Granados is an artist by dawn, the Conservator at UConn Library by day, and a static trapeze/handstand enthusiast by night. Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Natalie earned her BFA from Parsons School of Design and an MA in Paper Conservation from the University of the Arts London. While at work, she enjoys creating custom enclosures for delicate archival material and recreating missing areas of paper with Japanese tissue. When not on campus, she makes paper by hand, designs repeat patterns digitally and manually, and hangs upside down from a static trapeze.
