Metadata Management Librarian
As metadata management librarian, Rhonda Kauffman manages metadata necessary for the discovery, access, and stewardship of UConn Library collections. They also curate UConn's circulating zine collection located at Homer Babbidge Library in Storrs. Previously, she worked as metadata librarian at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and metadata/catalog librarian at Lehigh University. Rhonda holds a MLIS from Long Island University and received her BA in psychology from UConn; she is very happy to return to her alma mater as a member of the library. Her research interests include diversity, equity, and inclusion in library collections and technical services; and zine librarianship.
