Stinnett, Graham

Graham is an Archivist overseeing the Human Rights and Alternative Press Collections at the UConn Library, Archives & Special Collections. He holds an M.A. in Archival Studies from the University of Winnipeg/University of Manitoba and a B.A. in History from the University of Manitoba. His work focuses on the archivist as activist and expanding access to archives for a diverse audience. He is the host of d’Archive, an archives radio show and podcast, as well as Curator of the traveling punk rock archives exhibition, Live at The Anthrax: Connecticut’s Hardcore History. Graham currently teaches undergraduate courses on archives, memory and popular culture.

Watterworth Batt, Melissa

Melissa is an archivist in UConn’s Archives & Special Collections, building and introducing students to a variety of materials in the literary collections, rare books collections, and related special collections. Manuscripts, little magazines, audio recordings, broadsides, artists books, science fiction, graphic novels, and zines are among the recent additions to the literary collections holdings. Melissa holds an M.A. in History and an M.S.L.S. from Simmons College. Her work focuses on documenting the creative processes, origins, and networks of contemporary poets, playwrights, artists, anthologists, activists, printers, and small presses. Melissa serves as an internship and engagement supervisor for the Department of English’s Undergraduate Writing Program.

Wilk, Kimberly

Kimberly Wilk is an Access & Visitor Services Associate for the UConn Library. When she isn’t working on the public service desk, Kim is responsible for patron access (establishing borrowing privileges, managing library cards for special programs), troubleshooting fulfillment issues within the integrated library system, and providing outstanding customer focused service. Prior to working in Access Services, Kim began her professional library career accomplishing database maintenance tasks, monographic cataloging, and some serials cataloging. Kim and the cataloging team were pioneers in digital cataloging as they were the first catalogers at UConn to create bibliographic records to locate and access an electronic resource. She received her bachelor of arts degree in sociology and criminal justice from UConn.

 

 

Young, Michael

Michael Young has taught the history of art and architecture at Bard College, Skidmore College, Union College, Columbia Graduate School of Architecture and Planning and, currently, at the University of Connecticut. His research interests include Baroque architecture in Central Europe, especially Bohemia, the arts of traditional Judaism, Baroque monasticism and religious imagery in Baroque Gardens. He has received fellowships from the International Research and Exchanges Board and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
