Kimberly Wilk is an Access Services Associate for the UConn Library. When she isn't working on the public service desk, Kim is responsible for patron access (establishing borrowing privileges, managing library cards for special programs), troubleshooting fulfillment issues within the integrated library system, and providing outstanding customer focused service. Prior to working in Access Services, Kim began her professional library career accomplishing database maintenance tasks, monographic cataloging, and some serials cataloging. Kim and the cataloging team were pioneers in digital cataloging as they were the first catalogers at UConn to create bibliographic records to locate and access an electronic resource. She received her bachelor of arts degree in sociology and criminal justice from UConn.
