Recalls
Recalling an item that is checked out to another patron is a service available only to current UConn faculty, staff, students, and affiliates of the University, and to emeritus retirees. All patrons are subject to having an item recalled from them. Recalled items may have shortened due dates. The new due date is indicated in the recall notification email.
To avoid a $5.00 per day fine, return recalled items promptly. Borrowers who are temporarily unable to respond to recall notices should contact iDesk staff at 860-486-2518 or Askcirc@uconn.edu to make prior arrangements and avoid overdue charges.
