Organizational Effectiveness

Organizational Effectiveness oversees how the UConn Library develops its employees and organizational processes and structures to best achieve our goals and strategic directions as a collective whole. We administer recruitment, talent management and retention, and employee, leadership, and organizational development initiatives and programming in support of a healthy and effectual work culture.

Organizational Effectiveness staff are responsible for ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion practices are embedded and highlighted in our organizational processes and structures. This includes the assessment and development of our collective professional competencies, use of staff space, change mitigation, student employment support, employee performance evaluation, compliance, and time and attendance.

We serve as liaison to the departments of Human Resources and Payroll, and the offices of Diversity & Inclusion, Employee Relations, General Counsel, Institutional Equity, Student Employment, and University Compliance.
