The online application period for research carrels at the Homer Babbidge Library is now open and will run through Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 5:00pm.
We will be accepting all application types for the 2023-2024 Academic Year. Please note that assignments are approved on a first come, first served basis. To ensure consideration, all applications must be complete, including department approvals.

Research Carrels Policy and Guidelines
Research carrels are assigned to eligible applicants who are working on research projects requiring extensive use of library materials. Research carrels are not intended for use by occupants as study, storage or office space. Only individuals actively affiliated with the University of Connecticut are considered to be eligible.
