Research Carrels at the Homer Babbidge Library
The application period for research carrels at the Homer Babbidge Library will open on Monday, August 1, 2016 for the 2016-2017 Academic Year. The application period will remain open until Friday, August 19, 2016. All applications are considered on a first come first served basis.
Preference will be given to carrel applicants applying for a shared carrel. Please note that we must receive applications and department approvals for both applicants.

Per Diem Research Carrels
Please note that the iDesk, located on the Library’s Plaza Level, offers daily research carrels. These carrels are available for four hour increments on a first come, first served basis.
Research Carrels Policy and Guidelines
Research carrels are assigned to eligible applicants who are working on research projects requiring extensive use of library materials. Research carrels are not intended for use by occupants as study, storage or office space. Only individuals actively affiliated with the University of Connecticut are considered to be eligible.
