UConn Library Information Literacy Program Mission
The Information Literacy Program of the University of Connecticut Library provides students, faculty, and staff with an understanding of today’s global information environment. The Information Literacy Program focuses on locating, evaluating, and using information resources competently and ethically; supports the research goals of the university curriculum; and helps equip our research community with the information and skills needed to become effective members of a complex society.

AAC&U Information Literacy VALUE Rubric
Information Literacy VALUE Rubric : The VALUE rubrics were developed by teams of faculty experts representing colleges and universities across the United States through a process that examined many existing campus rubrics and related documents for each learning outcome and incorporated additional feedback from faculty.
