Borrow a Laptop: Loan Policies
Who can borrow a laptop?
Patrons with a valid UConn Health ID and a network username and password.
How long can I borrow a laptop?
Three (3) days.
There is a $15 fine for returning a laptop past its due date.
How do I borrow a laptop?
- Visit us at the Information Desk and ask to borrow a laptop.
- Sign a “Laptop Borrower’s Agreement” that includes your acknowledgement of UConn Health IT Policies and explains what happens if the laptop (or its parts) are not returned.
- You must logon to the UConnHealth-SECURE network using your network username and password. The laptop will not work if you skip this step. We recommend doing this with us at the library.
- That’s it! You can now use the laptop and connect to other Wi-Fi networks.
