COVID-19 has significantly impacted Interlibrary Services.
You may use ILLiad to request needed e-resources that are not available through UConn. This service is fast and free. Physical items (DVDs, VHS, print books, etc.) are not available to request at this time.

Follow the directions for print books but look for the e-book record if there is one. Not every print book has an e-book version. While it is still difficult and rare to obtain e-books through Interlibrary Services, a few libraries (like ours) are beginning to provide them.
The UConn Library’s Interlibrary Services helps you obtain materials to support your academic research, learning, and professional growth and is available to UConn faculty, staff, and currently enrolled students. These materials are for your personal use only; they are not transferable and may not be used for course reserve or course distribution.
Our membership in a variety of consortia supports our mission. These include the Boston Library Consortium, Eastern Academic Scholars’ Trust (EAST), the Connecticut Library Consortium, the Center for Research Libraries, the Global Sharing Program, the Latin American Research Resources Project, IDS Project, and RapidILL.
