It is the mission of the University of Connecticut Libraries to provide every library patron access to all library facilities and collections to the best of our abilities. The Library provides assistance to persons with permanent or temporary disabilities on an individual basis. The entrance to the Waterbury Library is equipped with automatic doors. Parking for those with a State Handicapped Parking Permit is available in the Scovill Street Garage.  Among services provided: 

  • Orientation to the Library
  • Retrieval of library materials
  • Assistance in using printer/scanners
  • Assistance in placing Interlibrary Services requests
  • Assistance with research projects
