Printing, Scanning and Photocopying

Printers, scanner, and photocopier are located in the Self-Service Center on the main floor of the library across from the spiral staircase.

 

Printing

  • Information Desk staff will release print jobs for UConn Health employees (for example, nurses printing out Saba completion certifications) with a 10 page maximum. See library staff for assistance. 

 

UConn Health medical and dental students should see the Training & Testing Computer Center staff for printing assistance.

 


Scanning

Scanning is available on a self-serve basis in addition to the following services: 

 

Reserve Book Scan Request for UConn Health Students:

The library is offering a scanning service for books held on reserve. The Reserves titles below are eligible for this service:

Permanent Reserves

Dental Reserves

 

Pages will be scanned and emailed to students in PDF format.

Note: All reserves are also available for two (2) hour loan in the library only. There are limits to how much can be scanned due to copyright law. This service is only available to UConn Health students.

Journal Article Scan Request for UConn Health Staff and Students

Use Interlibrary Loan to request a copy of an article from a journal whether the library owns a copy or not. For detailed instructions, see How to Interlibrary Loan tutorial.

All registered UConn Health staff and students with a UConn Health network logon may place requests. We are unable to accept requests from external patrons or visitors at this time.
