Angela joined the University of Connecticut in the fall of 2019 in the Department of Animal Science. She provided the department with financial and administrative support.
Prior to coming to UConn, Angela worked within several Departments at EASTCONN Regional Education Service Center, supporting multiple directors, program coordinators, psychologists, therapists, students, and teachers. She brings with her significant experience in administrative support and managing daily business operations.
Angela joined the UConn Library Office of the Dean in March of 2022 and currently supports Dean Langley, the Senior Leadership Team, and supervises the Dean’s Office student workers.
Angela earned her BA in English and Creative Writing Certificate from the University of Connecticut.
In addition to writing, Angela loves plants, animals, the beach, and reading. She has a passion for helping others and is not afraid of hard work.
Sara Harrington is Associate University Librarian for Academic Engagement at UConn Library. Sara works with a range of library units that support and advance research, teaching, and learning at UConn Storrs including Access and Visitor Services, Greenhouse Studios, Interlibrary Services, Reference and Curriculum Services, Research Services, and the Regional Campus Libraries on the Avery Point, Hartford, Stamford, and Waterbury campuses. Sara’s work, and the work of the staff with whom she partners, puts the holistic stakeholder experience at the center of Library efforts, and integrates the Library into curricula and the UConn experience. Sara joined UConn in 2018 after working at Ohio University and Rutgers University. Sara holds a M.L.S from Rutgers University, a Ph.D. from Rutgers University, a M.Ed. from Ohio University, and a certificate in the Curation and Management of Digital Assets from the University of Maryland. Sara is an animal lover who enjoys exploring New England across all four of its glorious seasons.
Khara Leon is the Assistant Dean for Library Administration for the UConn Library and her areas of responsibility include the Library’s administrative services, assessment and research, budget and finance, digital solutions and technology, facilities and security, human resources, and organizational development.
Her professional focus is to lead and support efforts across diversity, equity, and inclusion, change management, operational effectiveness, and relationship management. An alumni of the University of Connecticut, Khara received her BA in History and Sociology in 2001 and her MS in Human Resource Management from the School of Business in 2017.
