Communication Designer
Emily Leibin Ko is a Communication Designer for the UConn Library. Her responsibilities include graphic design, brand/identity, content strategy, marketing, social media, UX, web design, wayfinding and signage. She works collaboratively with stakeholders across the Library and UConn community. She supervises a team of awesome students who work on graphic design, web development, and video. She has an MFA in design criticism from the School of Visual Arts, and a bachelor’s degree in industrial design from the Pratt Institute. She has worked as a designer and communication consultant for museums and arts organizations, including the Glass House in New Canaan, CT, and as a fashion/industrial designer for companies in Boston and New York.
