providers. The Full Text Jounal Locator can be used to
determine if a title is available through one or more of the
Libraries' electronic resources, and to connect to the database
or journal directly.

Locator
The University of Connecticut subscribes to over 240 Web-Based,
commercially-produced research and citation databases. Most of
these resources are limited to the University of Connecticut
community.

- Hispanic American Periodicals Index (HAPI) Indexes over 500
journals covering political, economic, and social issues,

- JSTOR Essential scholarly journals in many academic fields, especially arts, literature, humanities, and biology. Some back to early 1900s; most recent 2-5 years not available. Most Latin American and Caribbean Studies journals are found here.

380 alternative, radical, and left publications, which report

Dissertation Abstracts Covers every doctoral
dissertation completed in the U.S. at accredited institutions
for the last 150 years. Includes some master's theses and

Factiva Provides company, industry, and market data. Also,
full text access to newspapers, general interest magazines and
academic journals.

OneFile
An abstracting and full text service which
provides indexing to 1550 general interest journals.

- A citation database for 17,000 multidisciplinary
journals. The Reveal feature provides a user with the ability
to set up a search profile and receive the citation results
every week on email. Available to University of Connecticut
faculty, staff and students.

Researcher
- In-depth, unbiased coverage of health, social
trends, criminal justice, international affairs, education, the
environment, technology, and the economy. From the
Congressional Quarterly. 1991 to present. Some of the reports
