Research Carrels at the Homer Babbidge Library

The online application period for research carrels at the Homer Babbidge Library has closed.

To apply or check the status of a previously submitted application, please visit carrelreserve.lib.uconn.edu.

Please note that assignments are approved on a first come, first served basis.  To ensure consideration, all applications must be complete, including department approvals.

Applicants may send a reminder email for approval when checking their application status.


Research Carrels Policy and Guidelines

Research carrels are assigned to eligible applicants who are working on research projects requiring extensive use of library materials.  Research carrels are not intended for use by occupants as study, storage or office space. Only individuals actively affiliated with the University of Connecticut are considered to be eligible. Please find below links to information regarding research carrel policy and usage:
