The Learning Commons at UConn Stamford

The UConn Stamford Campus Learning Commons brings together in one space an inviting, collaborative learning space where students will have the tools and academic support services that enable them to research, develop, enhance, produce and finalize their academic work assignments.  Located on the first floor of the library, the tools and services included in the Learning Commons includes: computer workstations, printers and scanners, research databases, academic software programs, writing and tutoring help, collaborative work areas, IT help, and single-point service desk for reference sources, research advice, and access services functions. The core service partners being the library, the Source for Active Learning and the Stamford Technology Services Group.

The Stamford Learning Commons first floor also has more PC computers, comfortable furnishings, new equipment loans, study spaces and scanners.
Schedule your tutoring and writing appointments through ADVAPP before visiting the Source for Active Learning space. The IT help desk can answer questions about Printing, Scanning, UConn-Secure, Wireless Access, Wireless Printing, NetID, Basic software assistance (MS Office 2010), HuskyCT, and HuskyMail.
