University of Connecticut

Exhibits and Exhibition Program

The Archives & Special Collections exhibition program supports and extends the reach of its mission and the research, teaching, service and outreach missions of the University of Connecticut.  The exhibition program highlights the collections and staff expertise of Archives & Special Collections, fosters public awareness of archival issues, and engages students and faculty in scholarly and creative achievement.   The exhibition program further aims to:

  • Contribute to making Archives & Special Collections and the UConn Library a destination for the UConn community;
  • Encourage collaboration among staff, artists, researchers, faculty, students and interns;
  • Promote Archives & Special Collections and its collections in new and contemporary ways;
  • Uphold the highest standards for the care of collections on display, and encourage good handling and preservation practices.
