Borrow a Laptop

 Borrow a Laptop: Loan Policies

Dell Latitude 7420

Who can borrow a laptop?

Patrons with a valid UConn Health ID and a network username and password.

How long can I borrow a laptop?

Three (3) days.

There is a $15 fine for returning a laptop past its due date.

How do I borrow a laptop?

  1. Visit us at the Information Desk and ask to borrow a laptop.
  2. Sign a “Laptop Borrower’s Agreement” that includes your acknowledgement of UConn Health IT Policies and explains what happens if the laptop (or its parts) are not returned.
  3. You must logon to the UConnHealth-SECURE network using your network username and password. The laptop will not work if you skip this step. We recommend doing this with us at the library.
  4. That’s it! You can now use the laptop and connect to other Wi-Fi networks.
