Giving to the University Libraries

Gifts to the University Libraries have helped support the University’s rise to excellence.  We are building one of the most outstanding public universities in the country, but to continue to be successful, we need your help.

We are living through a period of unprecedented change in how information is created and distributed.  Today’s students and faculty demand networked information resources and services wherever they are and whenever they need them.  When students come to the library, they expect a broad range of collections and library learning environments to support them in their studies.

With your help, we have endowed collections and constructed electronic classrooms, quiet study rooms, reading rooms, video theaters, and seminar rooms.  The Thomas J. Dodd Research Center was made possible in large part through private giving.  These enhancements help to differentiate the UConn Libraries from other university libraries and help the University attract and retain some of the nation’s best faculty and students.

Thank you for considering a gift to the University Libraries that will support our continuing quest for excellence.

Dodd Research Center.
