Offline: Art & Craft by the UConn Libraries Staff

Homer Babbidge Library, Gallery on the Plaza
Curators: Valori Banfi, Chris McNevins and Carolyn Mills

Offline is an exhibit of artworks and craft objects crea ted by the staff of the University of Connecticut Libraries. Many different media are represen ted, reflecting the great variety of interests, abilities and personalities of the staff. In our lives outside of the UConn Libraries we work with fiber, film, paint, ink, and even hops. The motivation of each staff member to create is as unique as the pieces we produce. Each item in the show is identified with the name and professional position of its creator. The University of Connecticut Libraries has 131 staff employed on six campuses. In our daily work we strive to give the best of our professional abilities to our patrons, both on and off campus. Through this exhibit we wish to showcase our more hidden talents as well.
